Your LED strips are fine. Your controller is the problem.

Every other controller only speaks its own brand.
Fovilight speaks all of them.

Questions people ask first
Which LED strips work with Fovilight?
Over 20 types: WS2811, WS2812, WS2812B, WS2813, WS2815, WS2805, SK6812, SK6812 RGBW, APA102, APA102C, HD107S, plus analog RGB, RGBW and warm/cool white. Brand does not matter.
What is LedID™ technology?
LedID™ is the auto-detection built into every Fovilight. On connection it reads the strip type, communication protocol, length and any fault conditions, so there is nothing to configure by hand.
Does Fovilight need internet to work?
No. Fovilight is local-first. You pair over Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi is optional. Your lights keep working if the router or your internet connection goes down.
How long does setup take?
Three steps. Connect your LED strip and power supply, select your Fovilight over Bluetooth in the app and optionally join Wi-Fi, then you are controlling the lights.
Can I make my own lighting effects?
Yes, two ways. Describe the effect in plain language and the AI builds it, or write it yourself in Lua. You can also install community effects from the built-in Effect Store.
How do I power it?
USB Type-C up to 5A, barrel jack up to 7A, or screw terminal up to 20A, across a 5-24V range. A USB power bank works for portable setups.
Can I replace the controller I already have?
That is what the Replacement kit is for. Keep your existing strips and power supply, swap the controller, and Fovilight detects what you connected.
When can I buy one, and do you ship to the EU?
Fovilight is pre-launch — the prototype and app are working, and mass production is next. Shipping is planned across the EU. Join the waitlist and you get one email when it ships.
Is Fovilight compatible with Home Assistant?
Yes. Fovilight's local-first Wi-Fi API makes it compatible with Home Assistant without cloud access — ideal for local home automation.
